Restaurant service is a huge challenge for business partners. When a customer shows up, you have to provide the best service at an express pace. We were approached by a client who specialises in serving the Horeca industry.

When we started working on the BlackDecor shop, there were a lot of restrictions in place due to the first wave of Covid-19. However, this did not stop us from holding a series of meetings with the client and establishing what is most important in working with the HORECA industry. We had a super challenge ahead of us – an online shop with a huge product range.

What was our plan? Aim pal!

The most proven solution for an online shop with a large number of products and variants is the Prestashop system. Its capabilities allow full modification of the assortment and creation of attribute combinations, which was the first condition for implementation.

How did we manage during the design process?

When realising online shops, our overriding aim is to feel for the potential customer of the shop we are creating. And a restaurant is, after all, a lifestyle. Every restaurant is different, each has its own unique atmosphere. Our project was to show this style, which the restaurateur was to feel and see with his eyes in his restaurant.

What technologies have we used?

The Prestashop shop engine version 1.7 allowed our client to present the entire range of products he had, in every variant, size, colour he had. In addition, the client attaches great importance to the positioning of his online shop. And Prestashop allows, in this case, a lot of customisation for SEO activities.

An online shop that first and foremost sells! There is no more important factor that defines the success of a project!
