Determining nutritional needs and choosing the right diet is often not easy and requires asking a few questions. How to optimise this process? What about clients who expect quick solutions? How to select the best cattering with the help of an online service? We were approached with these questions by a client offering box cattering for companies and individuals.

We will solve any problem!

It is one thing to create a design that is attractive to the viewer, but designing an intuitive website menu with a clear division into business and private customer areas, clearly separating and describing different dietary needs, and dressing this in a form that is also attractive on mobile devices – that’s a challenge for us!

What was our plan? Aim pal!

For this project, we focused on highlighting the tasty photos and emphasising the benefits for the potential individual and business customer of using professionally run cattering. We wanted to emphasise the availability of the various diets on offer – everyone can find a plan for themselves!

How did we manage during the design process?

We have created an easy-to-read menu for navigating the catering offer, partly composed of icons and graphic elements that work well in the mobile view on a smartphone. Many of the information needed can be found by the internet user on the ‘second click’, without the need for constant reloading of sub-pages and endless scrolling, and the process itself ends with placing the chosen order.

What technologies have we used?

As the basis of the website, we used the CMS Word Press system, to which we added interesting animation effects and the analytical tools necessary for the client to collect information about the recipients and adjust their offer even better. We connected the website with an external portal for order processing in such a way that the transition to ordering the appropriate catering was smooth and simple.

The finished service is pleasing to the eye, but has also at the same time streamlined and speeded up the process of selecting and handling the order for cattering and boxed diets on both sides – the client has full control of the orders, and the consumer an efficiently selected and tailored diet to suit preferences and an efficiently delivered order!
