The company was established on 9 May 2018. It distributes ladders and scaffolding. In order to realise its business goals, it needed an agency to create an online shop tailored to the construction industry and allow it to establish an e-commerce presence. We are delighted that they chose our agency and placed their trust in us.

The guiding principle was to create an online shop that is easy for the customer to navigate and where they can quickly find what they are looking for. The solution we introduced was to divide the shop into types of ladders and scaffolding. We had to ensure that the new web shop met all the standards of a good e-commerce site: responsiveness, adequate page load speed, good navigation, etc.

E-commerce for the construction industry is undoubtedly an opportunity to increase sales levels. In Poland, we have seen an ever-growing interest in this way of shopping for several years.

During the development of the site, we were mainly guided by the good readability of the online shop, so that using the site is simple and pleasant for shoppers. In line with all UX-friendly principles. At the same time, we tried to make it tailored to the needs of the company and the construction industry.

The second aspect was to implement solutions that would enable employees to process orders quickly and without problems.

How did we manage during the design process?

We first analysed the online shops that are leading the way in the construction industry. Only then did we proceed with the graphic design, which we develop individually for each client so that the website stands out from the competition.

In this case, we opted for a bright site with large product images. The design is clear, attractive to look at and presents the benefits of the deal.

No more than three clicks will lead the viewer to the information they need without wandering through the depths of the site.

What technologies have we used?

We decided to develop the e-commerce website on PrestaShop software. The project is distinguished by a simplified ordering system and the calculation of shipping costs. In addition, we compulsorily added clickable phone numbers to ensure quick and easy contact and chat, made possible by the site’s integration with Messenger.

The online shop is connected to Toren’s Facebook and Instagram, so that the internet user can go and check out the company’s social media and the posts they insert with interesting facts and news with a single click.
